|
Project Description: Tri-State Bird Research and Rescue works with injured wild birds. They are a non-profit organization whose main objective is to care for injured domestic birds and re-release them into the wild. These birds range from a small sparrow to a bald eagle. They have a team that work specifically with oil spills and they travel around wherever the need arises. We volunteer sporadically by coming in and caring for the injured and baby birds. We clean their cages, prepare meals and help administer medical treatments. A lot of our work is based around reducing the stress level of the birds and trying to create the most natural atmosphere as possible. |

| Hey, I had the best seat in the house. | Justin!!! Why in the hell are you looking through the Trash!!! |
|
|
Alright, here's the story on the garbage. So Gabriella, Kat and I are
sitting in Costco eating the pizza we just ordered when one of the employee's
walks over to the garbage with a perfectly find avocado and throws it in the
trash!!!
"What the hell, did he just throw away an avocado?" asks Gabriella. "That's a sin where I come from." "Let's go get it then," I immediately replied. So Gabriella and I took turns searching the garbage and after the fourth try...finally found the coveted avocado!!! We used teamwork and collaboration to map out the inside of the garbage can and recover the savory green avocado. Now that's dedication to some guacamole. :-) - Good eye Gabriella. |
| Gabriella finally found what I was looking for!!! | |
